Other Online Sources:  Below is a list of websites you may find helpful.  ​Remember, a good website may have links to other resources on your topic.  If you discover any other great websites during your research, let us know and we may be able to post them here.  Primary sources, sometimes called "first hand accounts", are artifacts (documents and other objects) from or near the time of the event(s): eye witness accounts, memoirs, diaries, images of artifacts, period paintings, design, drawings, photos, articles, etc. Secondary sources or "second hand accounts" are resources created looking back at event(s), sometimes with the help of primary sources.  Secondary sources often summarize, analyze, interpret, past event(s) as a way to understand what happened, make connections with the present and predictions about the future.
